Established in 1990 in Eskisehir, Akarmak specializes in manufacturing industrial autoclaves equipped with cutting-edge technology for various applications including composite curing, glass lamination, rubber coating, rubber curing, construction materials (aerated concrete, fiber cement), food, textile, sterilization and medical waste sterilization. With its experience, robust infrastructure, and comprehensive autoclave production program, Akarmak offers complete autoclave systems with fast-closing bayonet door systems up to 5.5 meters in diameter and 63 meters in length, setting the highest safety standards in the market. Akarmak autoclaves are available to our customers in accordance with the following certificates and standards:

• Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED)
• Simple Pressure Vessels Directive 2014/29/EU (SPVD)
• ASME Section VIII Division 1 (U&S)
• EAC (GOST)
• AD 2000 HP0
• Other certifications as may be required by different country authorities

Our products are manufactured in compliance with international standards and we collaborate with internationally recognized organizations such as Bureau Veritas, TUV, Lloyd and Hartford Steam Boilers for product certification. Our company has manufactured hundreds of autoclaves and pressure vessels to date, holding CE, ASME and other certifications. In addition to the main certifications mentioned above, we also produce autoclaves with country-specific certifications required in countries like Korea, Australia, Canada, Japan.

The design and calculations of Akarmak autoclaves are performed using advanced tools and software by Akarmak's design engineers. The main design and calculation tools are Inventor, PV Elite, and ANSYS. For dry-heated (hot air) autoclaves, air flow and heat distribution are critically important. Optimal air flow and heat distribution are achieved using ANSYS modeling tools and an advanced control system by Akarmak.

Due to the critical nature of autoclaves for safety and the need for production in compliance with standards, the safety of Akarmak autoclave systems is guaranteed by the following measures:

• Production in compliance with the 2014/68/EU Pressure Equipment Directive and ASME Section VIII Division 1 standards
• Production in compliance with the 2006/42/EC Machinery Safety Directive
• Capability and production standards for CE (Europe), ASME (North America), and EAC (Russia) standards
• Products approved and certified by internationally recognized certification organizations such as Bureau Veritas, TUV, Hartford Steam Boilers
• Mechanical system featuring a spring-loaded safety valve
